Reviewing Data Input Options in the UK

KTJS

Data mining

The following project analyzes whether or not there is a lack of acknowledgment of Latin/Hispanic people who currently reside within the United Kingdom. What follows is a collection of opinions from those Latin/Hispanic people that have been living in the United Kingdom for years or even a few months about this issue. The project displays data that is present about this issue. All of the data was gathered from online sources. The type of media which is dealt with comes from online websites, databases, and surveys. These are both found sources and conducted research. The final project should demonstrate the best choice for dealing with the issue based on the interviews conducted. The main challenge of the design is finding the best way to input race/ethnic information so that online data forms are more inclusive. In order to solve this design challenge, the project looks at multiple kinds of HTML coding solutions. I hope that the impact this piece of work has will be to increase awareness and debate of the lack of acknowledgment of certain racial/ethnic groups. I believe that by compiling information about this issue, it provides a resource for anyone else who interested in learning more on the topic.
