Marlo West Condominiums Branding project

Tamara Korena

This branding package for the Marlo West Condominium association provides visual design components and explains how to use them appropriately in different scenarios. This includes the pitch presented to the clients including a variety of options to choose from. The current living complex does not have an overarching brand design, causing it to be overlooked by potential residents. People in the area are unaware of what these condominiums actually are, current residents frequently miss their turn into the complex, and the lack of branding may contribute to the stagnant property value of the condos.

I meet with the property’s Homeowner’s Association (HOA) to discuss the problems they are facing and proposed a few possible design solutions, including graphics and digital media. After our discussion, the HOA decided they wanted to focus on branding as a primary solution. The designs I created include an arch motif inspired by the architecture featured in most of the patio areas throughout the condo complex. This arch is unique and lends some character to these units, so it was important to include this feature.

The logo designs are meant to be classy, welcoming, and to provide an easily recognizable identity. The chosen color palettes are earthy, natural colors as the client requested. Additionally, a vibrant color palette is included to show a different option. The chosen typography includes legible font and a script to add a touch of elegance.

If the HOA implements my brand design, they could solve the aforementioned issues of visibility and brand awareness, as well as increase the property value of the condos in that area.
